Lesser Slave Watershed Council

The Lesser Slave Watershed Council (LSWC) is a nonprofit, charitable Watershed Planning and Advisory Council dedicated to the sustainable management of Lesser Slave Lake. Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, LSWC works collaboratively across the Lesser Slave Watershed to support informed, long-term water stewardship. Our key areas of work include: • Monitoring and reporting on the health of the Lesser Slave Watershed to support informed decision-making. • Bringing partners together to collaboratively develop and implement a watershed management plan. • Delivering educational programs and events that build watershed and environmental literacy across the basin. • Supporting on-the-ground projects that enhance, protect, and conserve watershed resilience.
