We are proud of our long-lasting history, but we also embrace innovation and change – over the past decades they shaped Lessmann into the company it is today: a modern production corporation, known for high quality technical brushes. In 1948 Johann Lessmann founded a small brush factory in Oettingen. A large order for over hand brushes – all of which were manufactured manually at the time – convinced his son Edgar to join the company shortly afterwards. Through regular investments, a lot of courage to change, strength to go through crises and above all through the motivation and the cohesion of the employees, the company has developed over the last 75 years into a highly technical, medium-sized company with approx. 250 employees. Today the family business is in 3rd generation hands and is managed by Jürgen and Dieter Lessmann. High-quality, durable brushes from the Lessmann standard range prove their reliability day after day in industrial businesses and workshops. Whether pipes, sheet metal, wooden surfaces, workpieces made of steel or stainless steel: With our technical brushes, every surface is perfectly processed – be it deburring, rust or paint removal, or cleaning. Whether in the automotive industry, pipe and pipeline construction or tire and rubber manufactur¬ing – individual brushes with special filling materials or unusual dimensions are required everywhere for special production steps. Our application consulting and product development support all projects from consulting to production. This results in special models, created to meet specific needs: exactly designed for the customer’s application, precisely constructed and manufactured in the best, reliable Lessmann quality.
