Leth Danish Straits ApS is a '2020/21/22/23 Gazelle'-award winning subsidiary of Leth. Apart from facilitating crew change, deliveries and a wide range of various husbandry services to vessels passing Denmark, the company also offers transit agency in Panama and Bosporus. Visa free crew change in Denmark Denmark is considered to be a convenient hub for crew changes of seamen not holding (or holding) a valid visa. Due to a special agreement between the Danish Shipping cluster and the Danish Immigration Authorities, agents are allowed to organize dis- and embarkation of nationalities not having a valid visa. Providing a large degree of flexibility for the ship owner / manager and, with the rather short distances in Denmark, from locations like Skagen, Kalundborg, Gedser, Copenhagen etc to/from the Airports in Copenhagen and Aalborg, we do see an increasing usage of this special set of rules.
