Level 20 Belgium

Level 20 is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving gender diversity in the European private equity industry. It is an industry-wide initiative and it has the ambition to have women holding 20% of senior positions in the Private Equity (PE) industry. To that end, Level 20 works to inspire women to join the PE industry, particularly in investment roles, and to help them succeed by providing support and facilitating the sharing of insights and experience. Level 20 has growing memberships of over 2,500 individuals and for the financial sponsoring, more than 50 private equity firms, alongside other firms working in the private equity sector. With this support and collaboration, Level 20 creates a stronger voice for improving senior female representation across the industry. The Belgian Chapter was launched in the first days of 2023. With the support of the Level 20 organisation and the existing Chapters (i.e, UK, the Nordics, Denmark, DACH, the Netherlands, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain and Poland), the Belgian chapter has the ambition to grow rapidly in terms of local members/sponsors and activities along the five Level 20 Key Initiatives: Networking & Events, Research, Outreach, Mentoring & Development and Advocacy. Level 20 membership is free and open to professionals of any gender (aiming to be) working in the private equity industry, who are committed to improving gender diversity, equity and inclusion.
