Leyland Nigeria
Leyland Nigeria Limited is an offshoot of Eba Odan Commercial & Industrial Company Limited, which bought assets of Leyland Nigeria, Ibadan in 1994 from the Receiver/Manager appointed by the then creditors of the defunct company. Leyland Nigeria was one of the six automobile factories established in Nigeria in 1970's by the Federal Government in partnership with the original brand owners in Europe with goals such as transfer of technology, establishment of viable support industries to raise the level of local content, creation of employment and contributing to the overall economic development of the country.
