Life Without Limitations Nfp, Inc

Life Without Limitations NFP, Inc is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to delivering services and programs through life skills and youth development for at-risk youth, emphasizing the attributes of empowerment, influence, mentorship, and education; all together to bring them an optimistic worldview. Targeting the demographics from ages 11 to 17 years old, our mission is to make a significant and bold impact on vulnerable young people. Life Without Limitations is dedicated to decreasing adverse behaviors and increasing participants’ academic performance, which will lead them to be solid leaders for their families and in their communities. Ultimately, the organization is geared toward increasing personal growth and development and, social and economic opportunities for young people. Positive youth development is just one way to ensure that youth have access to adequate positive opportunities. Data shows when young people are embraced by a number of opportunities for positive experiences, engage in less high-risk behavior and display higher rates of successful transitions into adulthood. After a comprehensive study reviewing over 200 school-based social and emotional learning programs found that program participants showed significant improvement in their social and emotional skills, attitudes, academic performance, and reductions in internalizing problems. Life Without Limitations believes these 5 core principles create effective and lasting change: Accountability, Consistency, Honesty, Respect, and Opportunity. Emphasizing these 5 principles to curtail habitual negative behaviors while utilizing personal interests to gain engagement and participation from the youth helps the youth start to reassess their actions. Our programs will increase self-confidence, focus, and self-control all skills needed to be a productive individual.
