All pool owners in NSW need to register their swimming pool or spa. In 2016 a further law was passed in NSW that made certificate of compliance of pools and spas a requirement in the sale of a property or the lease of a property, which has a pool or spa. Under the Building Professional Act of NSW, councils or an accredited certifier can issue a compliance certificate and help ensure the safety of children on your property. Lifeguard Pool Certifying is fully accredited with The Building Professional Board
