Lifespan Resources, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization whose mission is to enrich the quality of life of older adults by enabling each individual to live a life that matters. PURPOSE The purpose of this organization shall be to enrich the lives of older people by providing a multi-purpose, interfaith ministry to and with older persons through churches, synagogues and other organizations and agencies in Atlanta. Our goals are: a. To assist older persons to have a more meaningful and fulfilling life by using their skills and knowledge to benefit others in the community through volunteer services and continued personal growth; b. To develop programs specially suited to feed the mind and spirit of older persons, helping them to maintain their dignity and independence, as well as their usefulness; c. To help older persons remain in their own homes under satisfactory conditions of health and happiness as a viable alternative to institutional care; d. To serve as a conduit for referral of information and services available to older persons through private and governmental agencies; e. To cooperate closely with existing agencies, both governmental and private, to avoid duplication and to assist older persons to use these services.
