Light Boston

Light Boston, Inc. is a non-profit, citizen’s advocacy group formed in 1996 to enhance Boston’s urban environment by promoting, planning and implementing appropriate exterior lighting of the city’s significant buildings, monuments, public spaces and streetscapes. Collaborating with the Mayor, city agencies and private organizations, our vision is to illuminate the “city upon a hill” and create a “Diamond Necklace” to complement our world renowned “Emerald Necklace.”
