Lightning Maths

Lightning Maths is a social enterprise with a mission to move people away from maths anxiety, towards maths fliuency. Lightning Maths was founded in 2019 by teacher Roy Clutterbuck who created games for his pupils to show them that maths can be playful and enjoyable. We released our first game 'Lampogo 3' after a successful crowdfunder. Lampogo 3 is a game of quick number reasoning, like a cross between sudoku and snap. It is for ages 7+, up to four players and has been designed to used either at a school setting or at home. We are proud that it has won recognition and awards: being recommended by National Numeracy, being approved by the Good Toy Comany, as well as receiving a silver award from Imagination Gaming. We are currently developing a range of games for other age groups. We are also working with the charity SHINE to run programmes in school in Sheffield to support number learning.
