Lightout (YC W18) is NYC-based venture-backed startup reimagining how Outdoor Advertising works. Our first product, Lightout Portal, is a place where brands and agencies can easily launch and track digital outdoor advertising campaigns. We make the process of starting campaigns 10X easier than before by offering brands a list of curated "Lightout Experiences" that can be launched in a few clicks. We then couple those Lightout Experiences with best-in-class performance analytics, which track what actually matters - lift in website conversions, app installs, store visits, and more. We believe OOH Advertising is one of the most underrated formats in advertising & expect several trends - transition to digital formats, self-serve purchasing, more honest analytics - to lead to an explosion in interest in the OOH form factor.
