In 2021, faced with mixed experiences with professional agencies and navigating the uncharted territory of the inaugural year of name, image, and likeness (NIL), Sean Clifford, founder of Limitless NIL and quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, set out to establish an agency for athletes by athletes. Throughout Clifford’s senior season as Penn State’s starting quarterback, his creativity, passion, and involvement in NIL led him to mentor younger teammates in this evolving landscape of college athletics. Notably, Limitless is the first agency founded by a student-athlete to assist others with NIL opportunities. When the company officially launched in April 2022, Sean and his brother Liam, co-founder of Limitless, became the leading voice for student-athletes. The duo’s relationship allows the company to be at the forefront of the industry. In early 2023, Limitless joined Team Group Holdings to create a full-service suite for athletes and brands with Strategic Sports Marketing (Pro Sports Marketing), Sports Vault (Sports Memorabilia Outfitter), and Studio One (Creative Suite Studio) — the next step in ensuring Limitless clients have access to a comprehensive range of services. Our team comprised of former student-athletes and seasoned professionals with extensive NIL marketing experience allows us to understand the needs of athletes, brands, and athletic departments alike. Limitless clients have inked deals with hundreds of brands, ranging in size from Harpers in our founder's home of State College, Pennsylvania, to nationally recognized brands like Raising Cane's. Our mission is to pair Limitless clients with like-minded brands, equipping them with the necessary tools to maximize their performance on and off the field.
