Line Westgaard Norway

Line was born August 22, 1981. She was raised in Ås, Akershus. There she made her first piece of jewelry as a 14 year old, and since then it has been a media she has explored in countless materials and methods. This has led to today, where jewelry is the central part of her artwork. In 2019 she was choosen to tour across Norway with Ari Behn, Mikael Persbrandt, Per Heimly and Espen Eiborg. By education, she is an illustrator, and all production starts with an illustration first and then ends in silver or gold. She is fascinated by symbolism and has since 2013 worked with "The Bull"."The Bull" symbolizes strength, courage and vitality, but also vulnerability. This is reflected in the shape and surface of the jewelry, as well as the location of the bull on the jewelry. Each piece of jewelry has its own story. Relationships, brave choices and truth are key words that make her creativity flow.
