The roots of the company and its founders are in healthcare going back to 1987 though a previous company witch sold its healthcare assets in 2001 and setout on its transformation and the goal to be diversified. Linearstone was founded an incorporated in 2006 and acquire the remaining assets and put forth a visionary plan of being diversified into eight different operating segments natural resources, tech, media, healthcare, insurance, human consumables, city services and real estate. The company's investment objective is to achieve an above-average return compared to regular investments.
