In recent years, the number of elderly people from abroad living in France has been steadily increasing. Older immigrants often face specific challenges related to language, culture, and social connections. As a result, they are at greater risk of finding themselves in vulnerable situations. Although France has developed various support systems for older adults, these are often not adapted to the particular needs of immigrant seniors, and many do not receive sufficient support or access to appropriate services. Our mission is to understand each person’s background, culture, and wishes, and to support them in living their later years with peace of mind, dignity, and in a way that respects who they are. In concrete terms, we offer the following types of support:
