De Lion Heart Foundation werkt in Sierra Leone aan de duurzame ontwikkeling van gezondheidszorg, economische activiteiten en kennisoverdracht, met als doel om de lokale bevolking te helpen zichzelf verder te ontwikkelen. Onze missie is geslaagd als wij onszelf op den duur overbodig weten te maken. Onze activiteiten in Sierra Leone bestaan uit- Ondersteunen ziekenhuis en medische staf- Opzetten van onderwijsactiviteiten- Werken aan capaciteitsopbouw met de hulp van (Nederlandse) professionals- Ontwikkelen duurzame economische activiteiten Voor al deze activiteiten is jaarlijks tussen de €300k – €500k nodig.
