Lion44 is a specialist at Disc Sports coaching and tournaments operator based in the Southwest of England. Our owner and head coach is former GB Youth Coach Phil Richardson. We work with schools, universities, local authorities and youth clubs to deliver to needs of these varying groups. Our coaching philosophy is to offer sports such as Ultimate and Disc Golf to everyone, introducing the counter culture of these sports. Through work with UK Ultimate as a Leader Award Educator we are also helping spread the skills needed to coach Ultimate. Our experience in hosting tournaments and events has been honed since 2006. Our most popular tournament, Iron Five, has hosted a missive 52 teams in 2011. We also help with the Devon Games to Inspire, Devon Summer Ability Games and are an advocate of the UK Ultimate Schools competition.
