Driven by intuition and creativity, Lisa Brown designs are individual, feminine and timeless. The eponymous label was born in 2006 on the Queensland coastline from Lisa’s creative flair in designing for her own wardrobe. Inspired by vintage collectibles, bohemian style, free-flowing fabrics and the unusually beautiful, Lisa was often approached by curious individuals wanting to know where she shopped. Commissioned originally to create one-off pieces for clients, Lisa’s designs were gaining word of mouth acclaim. In Summer 2006, she took a leap of faith and launched her namesake label with an exclusive, limited edition collection of original designs. The rest is history. Lisa Brown designs are now loved by women all over the world. All collections are made locally in limited runs, so each Lisa Brown garment is one of few. This exclusivity is a result of the measures taken to prioritise ethically conscious practices throughout the entire production process. Lisa Brown's designs are made in Australia by local machinists who share the same appreciation for beautiful, well-made garments and responsibly sourced materials. Lisa Brown remains one of few Australian labels to operate in this way.
