LISC Houston drives economic development and builds vibrant, resilient communities. As a local office of LISC (Local Initiative Support Corporation), we invest in people and places to create opportunities for all. We serve as an advisor, advocate, convener, trainer, and investor—working with residents and partners to drive equitable growth. Our Financial Opportunity Centers (FOCs) help individuals build financial stability, while our Training for Trainers leadership program empowers community leaders. Through our GO Neighborhoods initiative, we support resident-driven revitalization in communities across Houston. As a CDFI, we also support the development and preservation of affordable housing through capacity building and investments.
