LISTEN Media's Mission/Vision: Spirituality and religion are often used as the greatest divisive forces between people of different beliefs and cultures and, in today's world, are literally wedges - driven between faith groups - that lead to human misery and death on a daily basis. In a world such as this, we feel that improved dialogue and understanding between faiths is crucial; it is absolutely vital that we learn to talk to each other, to really listen to each other, to put aside our differences and come to a point of mutual understanding so that we can move beyond the hatred and violence and find a place of peace where full agreement is not necessary for acceptance. As an alternative to the current state of affairs between faiths, LISTEN Media envisions communities with greater magnanimity and cooperation between their spiritual groups, where improved dialogue enhances understanding, and where tolerance and charity are encouraged. Therefore, it is the mission of LISTEN Media, Inc. to foster mutual respect and understanding among diverse faith groups and individuals by serving as an information, education and networking resource to spiritual seekers and practitioners, as we work toward seeing our vision made manifest.
