ListenHEAR is an Estero, Fl FL-based audiology practice owned by Dr. Rachel Cohen. ListenHEAR specializes in APD and provides Auditory Processing Evaluations and Auditory Processing Disorder Therapy to both children and adults both in SWFL and around Florida, Arizona, Massachusetts, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Alaska via telehealth. Dr. Cohen holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Florida Board of Audiology, and Pennsylvania state license, as well as the Listening and Spoken Language Specialist Certification, and Educational Advocacy certification. Dr. Rachel Cohen received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. She is an experienced Pediatric Educational Audiologist (18 years) and Listening and Spoken Language Specialist as well as a Certified Educational Advocate. She is a member of the Educational Audiology Association (EAA) and serves as the State Representative for Florida for EAA. In 2018, Dr. Cohen was awarded the Clinician of the Year award from FLASHA. In 2019, Dr. Cohen was awarded the State Clinical Achievement Award for Florida by ASHA. She also was nominated for the Louis M. Dicarlo Award for Recent Clinical Achievement by ASHA.
