For nature and local communities! About us: Little Earth is environmental, non-profit, public organisation formed in 1997 by a group of young activists. The Little Earth is officially registered and has the status of a national environmental protection organisation. At the core of our work is a community-based approach applying innovative and creative environmental solutions. Our mission: To make local communities more susceptible to environmental issues and enhance their role and participation in sustainable development. We work to preserve the unique ecosystems of Tajikistan and our fragile planet for future generations. By ensuring environmental sustainability, Little Earth contributes to the development of communities as a whole. Through addressing environmental issues, Little Earth helps fight poverty and improves the quality of life of the most vulnerable groups of the population. Our Services: • Implementation of grassroots projects in renewable green energy and energy efficiency • Applying resource-saving technologies and practices for adaptation to climate change at the local community level • Capacity building of youth, rural communities, and indigenous people in the implementation of sustainable environmental practices • Awareness raising about environmental issues and empowerment of the civil sector in the decision-making process in the field of environmental protection.
