Little World Training

Little World Training Ltd was set up specifically to provide a comprehensive training and employment service to the graduates and high achievers of Manchester in response to the increasing graduate unemployment rate in the largest student community in Europe. In our second year, we opened a branch in Liverpool to provide our services to the residents of Merseyside. Our experience with these clients has given us a unique insight into their barriers to employment and, by delivering at the appropriate level, our approach gives them the most suitable support and guidance to regain their confidence and enter the workforce with long-term goals. By canvassing and liaising with local employers, we have established where they feel the skills shortages lie amongst job applicants. This includes both vocational and “soft” employability skills that employers say they are looking for, such as Team Working, Problem Solving and Communication. By incorporating this into our training package, as well as keeping the training up-to-date and relevant to both the jobseeker and the local employers, we are best able to maximize the employability of our clients. In response to changing demands of the labour market, Little World Training has extended its delivery to include vocational training including First Aid, Food Hygiene and CSCS. These courses are available to individuals or to organisations and all our vocational courses are fully accredited by the relevant awarding bodies.
