Livability Initiative

Our mission at Livability Initiative is to provide practical, accessible solutions for individuals facing mobility and accessibility challenges in both public and private spaces across the Metro Richmond area. We focus on two core areas: public spaces, where we work to identify barriers, raise awareness, and host community-building events, and private spaces, where we tailor accessibility modifications to individual needs. From installing accessible doors and grab bars to designing ramps, kitchens, and bathrooms, our goal is to enable people to remain safely in their homes with their loved ones. In the coming years, we are dedicated to becoming the leading provider of accessibility solutions in the Metro Richmond area, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence for all.
