liveBOLD is a process of combining passions and dreams with innate skills, abilities and personality traits to redefine the notion of work. It is specifically geared toward military veterans and struggles they so often face when entering the civilian workforce after a successful career in the service. There is a host of literature and research that demonstrates a general level of dissatisfaction with the "regular working world" for military veterans. This literature goes on to point out that most veterans work through several jobs in as many years before finding the "right fit." However, this is not entirely true. Many never actually find their right fit, but rather relegate themselves to a life of drudgery in a job/career that is not connected to their sense of purpose. Many begin to doubt their choices thinking there is something wrong, that they will never find the same passion for work as they had in the military. Leaving the military generates stress from many angles, but the single connecting theme is that most veterans have already lived the near perfect marriage of purpose, desire and work, whether or not it was consciously understood or acknowledged. The truth is veterans don't have to settle by staying in a job that doesn't fit. I can help you win that battle.
