Living Honestly

A Minnesota nonprofit hoping to make a significant contribution for the betterment of society. This is a resource for what we believe to be a massive and growing subculture that values simple, honest living. This is the new environmentalism! Our mission:* to support and conduct non-partisan research, education, and informational activities to increase public awareness of honest practices;* to help promote lesser-known organizations, methods, and associations involved in honest nutrition, family-owned business, efficient construction methods, and other ecologically-beneficial activities; and * to significantly improve the health and quality of life of the public. We intend to offer a variety of financial assistance grants such as to conventional farmers exploring biodynamic/organic methods, to cover architect fees for folks looking to build green, and to fund unique educational programs. As soon as we have the financial resources to do so, we will be looking to acquire and protect primitive places for future generations via conservation easements as a land trust. As a no-cost promotional tool, the idea is to offset the marketing budget gap that tends to limit the potential of home grown businesses doing honest work.
