Celebrating its 28th anniversary LMR is a members’ owned Co-Operative, known as a machinery ring, formed in 1991 to assist members in carrying on their agricultural business through mutual assistance involving the joint rational use of agricultural equipment and labour. It does this by matching demand and supply between members on the database. The administration process worksheets, produces invoices and collects and transfers money on behalf of the members The Ring’s membership is around 550, with businesses representing a wide variety of rural commercial activities. LMR has evolved as it has grown and offers a competitive group buying role for its members covering fuel, lubricants, concrete, buildings, gas, tyres, electricity, fertilisers, seeds etc. LMR’s trading area now covers the counties of Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, East Derbyshire, Rutland, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. We have no defined boundaries and have many loyal members in surrounding counties. Our aim is to offer our members a high quality service, working on their behalf to deliver solutions to their machinery and labour requirements by utilising the assets and strengths of the membership. We operate to deliver a mutual benefit to each member involved in a transaction. By working together we find new opportunities to develop our business and grow stronger.
