Local Artists Coming Together

LACT is a group that was developed by artists for artists. The group focuses on the betterment of the ARTISTS as individuals, as well as their COMMUNITIES. LACT’s purpose is to empower independent artists to hone their artistic skill as well as sharpen their knowledge of the business aspect of their craft. Most artistically inclined people have no idea how to market themselves; to look at their art as a product to be sold. We are here to help artists understand not only the need to, but to offer the knowledge of HOW to market their craft effectively. No longer does the artist have to subscribe to the “starving artist” archetype to maintain their passion. LACT provides artists with a group where they can come together and meet. Artists can exhibit samples of their work. Contact between artists is encouraged therefore contact information for each artist is readily available. LACT wishes to inspire projects aimed at the betterment of their community through local mural projects as well as other beautification acts in and around their respective cities.
