Summit Editorial Services is an umbrella organization for two freelance editorial businesses: Lois F. Hall, Editor (my company), and Scriptech Communications Design (company run by my partner, Brook). Each business has a different focus, although Brook and I often collaborate on large projects, allowing us to complete work on time even when faced with very challenging deadlines. Scriptech's focus runs more to business, the soft sciences, fiction, and biography, whereas my business centers on medical editing and hard and soft sciences. We both take on smaller (but no less important) contracts such as resumés, professional correspondence, ad copy, and academic papers. Our pricing is expressed in ranges to accommodate the wide variety of texts we receive, from simple to complex, brief to very lengthy, text only to text accompanied by multiple graphics and references. We are dedicated to timely, professional service, providing high-quality editing at a fair price.
