I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I focus on Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Logotherapy, Existential Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Integrative Therapy Approaches. I provide a safe space where clients can share their thoughts, feelings and concerns within the context of a stable and secure therapist-client relationship. I also help the clients’ partners and family, to facilitate learning how to cope with the challenges of addiction and instability in the relationship with the loved one, linked to traumatic life experience(s), including excessive conformity and /or non-conformity to prevailing social standards and norms of conduct. I am skilled in helping people overcome a variety of other symptoms of traumatic experiences. I offer evidence-based, integrative, client-centred, trauma-informed, psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapy. Through the existential and trauma-informed approaches, I will help you affirm and validate your True Self. My therapeutic approach is strengthened and supported by an altruistic and authentic system from my 27 years of experience as a faith community leader and seven years of experience in Psychospiritual Therapy Care in the Trauma Level One Hospital Healthcare setting. We all face life’s inevitable stresses. To meet these stresses in life, one needs emotional competence, which are “the capacity that enables us to stand in a responsible, non-victimized, and non-self-harming relationship with our environment.” (Dr. Gabor Maté). My nonjudgmental approach and presence will help you build the internal grounding you need, in order to face life’s inevitable stresses, to avoid creating unnecessary ones and to further the healing process towards a transformation, to wholeness of what is already there.
