Jim Hefty is the founder of Lone Star Sales Consulting in Texas, a sales consultancy focusing on sales excellence. Lone Star utilizes the Sales Xceleration platform, helping clients exceed their growth and sales targets across a range of industries by building successful sales plans and aligned sales teams. Before founding Lone Star, Jim spent 33 years in the high technology networking, storage and security markets for hardware, software and services sales. Jim’s deep experience has helped both established and startup companies with both large and private equity backed positions. During Jim’s career, 25 of those years have been in executive sales leadership roles, Jim operates as a charismatic and polished leader, coaching sales teams to grow their business and also “know” their business. Jim knows how to scale companies and is passionate about mentoring both sales teams and owners to exceed their goals. Jim has a BA in Business and American Studies from California State University, Fullerton and resides in Austin Texas with his wife, Jonnie. In his spare time Jim enjoys golf, tennis, sport fishing and learning about great regional wines.
