She trained at the Training Institute of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis and is a certified psychoanalyst and psychotherapist. She is a Senior Faculty Member and Clinical Supervisor at the Suffolk Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. She teaches Clinical Case Writing and Psychoanalytic Theory to post-doctorate psychoanalytic candidates at the Suffolk Institute’s 4-year certificate-granting program. She has over 20 years of clinical and supervisory experience, with extended experience treating couples, including high-conflict couples, and same-sex and mixed-gender couples in her therapy practice in Douglaston Manor NY. She also works with ‘the difficult’ patient and with trauma.
