Longleaf Engineering

In 2004, Longleaf Engineering was formed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with a mission to provide reliable and effective engineering solutions for our area. We began mostly as a construction materials testing firm that also provided civil and environmental consulting services. Over time, Longleaf Engineering became more engaged in civil, environmental, and geotechnical projects and less so in testing services. Eventually the materials testing division of our company was almost completely phased out. We continue to perform geotechnical investigations for both commercial and residential applications. We currently offer full service design and inspection services for a wide range of civil clients and projects. We have designed and overseen construction on many residential subdivisions throughout Tuscaloosa County. Additionally, our commercial development projects have transformed numerous properties into valuable assets for their respective communities. We also work closely with the cities of Tuscaloosa, Northport, Vance, and many others in Central Alabama. We know how to see projects through to completion. Our professional staff and support staff have maintained exceptional professional reputations in our community, and we look forward to providing many more years of service.
