Longthwaite House
Longthwaite House is a Georgian country house sited to the south of the market town of Wigton, in the centre of the Solway Plain to the north of the Lake District. Owned by Dr Emma Creighton, it serves as a private house, a small boarding cattery, DIY livery stables, a conservation base for rare breed sheep and heritage fruit trees, and a centre for training in human-animal interactions. With a Viking name, foundation stones from Saxon times, Border Reiver history buried in the cellar, and gracious architecture credited to the first Wigton GP, this is a lovely peaceful spot that Emma is pleased to share with clients and friends.
