Longview Engagement Associates

We established Longview Engagement Associates (LVE) in 2021 after meaningful careers in higher education, which illustrated the imperative for contemporary universities to reinvest in their historic covenant with society. With particular regard for Land-Grant Universities (LGUs), we see the benefits in being true to Abraham Lincoln’s declaration that they continue to serve as America’s “Peoples’ Universities." We hope LVE will help inspire constructive dialogue around the role and organization of 21st-century universities. LGUs, in particular, benefit from the deep engagement legacies associated with their Agricultural Experiment Stations and Extension service We also seek to broaden the conversation about engagement and share our thoughts through our blog and LinkedIn page.
