Soukromý Loprais Tatra Team vznikl po ukončení činnosti továrního Tatra Marathon Teamu v roce Základnou Loprais Tatra Teamu je Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. Tým se tradičně zaměřuje zejména na přípravu závodních speciálů TATRA určených pro náročné dálkové soutěže. Pod hlavičkou týmu Milana Lopraise startoval donedávna i šestinásobný vítěz Rallye Dakar Karel Loprais. Od sezóny 2007 převzal závodní štafetu Karlův synovec Aleš, který si hned při své dakarské premiéře za volantem dojel pro skvělé třetí místo v kategorii kamionů.
