The studio is directed by Stefano Giustiniani with Marco Alfaro, and was founded as a flexible practice with a core team that often extends to include a bigger network of specialists. Past work includes: 1) An Iconography system for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. 2) Seasonal rebranding for El Maravillas, a beach bar in Barcelona. 3) An artist book designed for I.R. Bach as part of LACMA’s Art + Tech Lab 4) Proposal for an IG channel for the JUMEX Museum in Mexico City 5) Web app for Amelia Rueda’s 2018 electoral coverage Since 2015 (–present) the studio works closely with the Design Department of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Designing on a regular basis a range of static and animated materials for the museum. In 2013 the studio founded El Gato, a sporadic publishing practice. Each edition of EG resulted in the production (investigate, write, design, print, and distribute) of a newspaper in 24-hours, under different geographical contexts and executed through these structures: 1) The Van; 2) The Classroom; 3) The Workshop; 4) The Festival. El Gato was featured in the 26th International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno, 2014.
