Who is Louisa K? My name is Samantha, I am originally from Christchurch, where I completed my Diploma & Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design at D&A. After completing my studies, I moved to Auckland to pursue my dream of working in the clothing manufacturing industry within New Zealand. Though there have been many ups and downs throughout my career, my passion and determination have ensured that I kept moving forward. Whilst working full time in the industry, I made clothing for myself and my friends in my spare time, simply because it is what I love to do. Recently I made the decision to share my passion, by working for myself at Louisa K full time. Where does Louisa K come from? Louisa is my middle name, and K is taken from the first initial of my last name. What does Louisa K do? Louisa K creates clothing that have the wow factor, whilst still being wearable. Clothing that excites people about creating their own personal style, and makes them feel good about going out knowing they’ll turn heads for all the right reasons.
