Introduction on Louppo Technology With human society marching into the era of Artificial Intelligence(AI), people have started the exploration and attempts of applying AI technology to assist in auxiliary decision-making in the medical field. The stethoscope is the most widely used and easy-to-carry medical device that doctors have been using for decades in initial diagnosis and periodic reviews. However, limited by human hearing capability and lacking accumulation of sound database, the diagnosis based on sounds has been criticized for being too subjective and lacking information reutilization. Recent achievements by AI in sound analysis and recognition technology will unprecedentedly push forward the development of sound diagnosis. Louppo Technology was founded in 2016 and has been dedicated in improving intelligent diagnosis assistance and individualized monitoring based on sounds by leveraging the maturing technologies of acoustic hardware and AI sound recognition. Louppo Technology focuses on the cardiopulmonary area and is developing a modern intelligent digital stethoscope, which will store, transfer, trace, compare and analyze cardiopulmonary sounds. On one hand, intelligent diagnosis will be provided to better assist doctors; on the other hand, with the addition of individual health management system developed by Louppo, remote communication between doctors and patients will be facilitated and intelligent outside-hospital monitoring will become possible, thereby inhibiting and curing patients’ chronical diseases outside hospital.
