Since its founding in 1958 in Kortemark, the company has grown into a leading player in the industry, now led by the third generation. With this new generation came a fresh breeze and the opening of a brand-new production facility in Romania, alongside the original site in Belgium. Louverdrape is the only manufacturer in Europe producing PVC vertical blinds fully in-house—from raw granulate to the finished product. These lamellae are made using advanced machinery and decades of expertise. The company quickly gained success with a unique collection of wooden venetian blinds, crafted in its Romanian facility using a proprietary lacquering process and trend-forward colour palettes. In 2025, Louverdrape will launch a new collection of pleated blinds, fully assembled in-house. This marks another step in the company’s commitment to innovation and tailor-made solutions. With production sites in Belgium, Romania, and France, Louverdrape proudly carries the label: Engineered in Belgium, made in Europe.
