Welcome to Love Canal, a dedicated initiative focused on transforming the sexual and reproductive health landscape for women in Armenia. Our mission is to empower Armenian women through comprehensive education, support, and advocacy, breaking societal barriers and fostering a community where women's health, dignity, and rights are upheld. Our Objectives: Provide accurate and youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health (SRH) knowledge and education. Collaborate with medical practitioners specializing in sexual education, gynecology, dermatology, and psychology to deliver sustainable SRH information. Address cultural stigmas and the lack of formal SRH education in Armenia through innovative campaigns and community engagement. Advocate for improved implementation of the Armenian Law on Reproductive Health and Rights to Reproduction, ensuring teenagers and women have access to necessary health services. Offer a safe, anonymous, and judgment-free platform for women to discuss social and physical issues related to SRH. Why Love Canal? In contemporary Armenia, discussions on reproductive health, sexuality, and intimacy are often avoided, leading to limited sexual education and inadequate access to comprehensive reproductive services. At Love Canal, we aim to bridge this gap by providing factual, non-judgmental information and support to empower and educate women and men about the critical issues women face, such as medical ethics, contraception, STIs, menstrual health, and mental health counseling.
