UK and Tintometer Germany. The company enjoys a traditional history but an even more innovative future. It was founded in 1885 by Joseph Lovibond, a prominent brewery owner who introduced the LOVIBOND® colour scale and the first colorimeter ever as a means of ensuring the quality of his beer. By 1893 he had perfected his research and introduced the first instruments. Since then, the company has continued to develop and extend the product range. Today, the company is bringing Water Analysis & Colour measurement to the next level while still recognising the importance of traditional methods. Tintometer India is introducing new techniques to bring measurement and quality control to an even higher level, developing creative solutions to ensure the continued reputation of the Lovibond® brand. Our product portfolio (consisting of Instruments, Test Kits and Reagents) has been developed and is continuously supported by our own R&D department - all in constant cooperation with our customers. What matters to us: both instruments and reagents are developed from a single source and meet the highest quality standards. The product range incorporates both visual and automated instruments, reference liquid and coloured glass standards.
