Lsesu Hellenic Society

The Hellenic Society of the LSESU was established in order to bring together students who are Greek or are interested in Greece, and create a home away from home for LSE undergraduate and postgraduate students. Our aim is to reflect on the fascinating past, understand the complexities of the present, and contribute to the shaping the future, by reconciling the Greek, European and international identities of our members. The dynamic community of the LSESU Hellenic Society is based upon the frequent organisation of events, which might take the form of conferences and seminars, featuring notable speakers, which explore the pressing issues of our era and act as platforms for debate and fruitful discourse. We also hold a number of career events and networking opportunities, to mainly help students find their true calling in the professional world and launch a successful career in the UK or Greece. Finally, fully believing that entertainment is more than required during our university life, we do host many social events and gatherings, centered around the Greek culture, contemporary or not.
