Lt Senior Services

Staying active and engaged is vital for maintaining the health and well-being of every older adult. Aging adults, however, are often challenged in finding suitable opportunities to get out, stay active, and remain engaged. LT Senior Services (Lake Travis Senior Services) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2018 and dedicated to keeping older adults and their families involved and educated. It also acts as a membership collaboration for trusted businesses that provide services to seniors. When a company has been vetted, seniors can access their services and hire them in confidence for repairs or other needed work. In this way, the organization can be a resource for both seniors and local businesses. LT Senior Services provides educational opportunities and services to all older adults within Lake Travis Independent School District boundaries, including Bee Cave, Spicewood, and Lakeway. Some of the essential offerings of LT Senior Services include educational seminars, workshops, and lectures presented by experts covering various topics of interest to seniors. The Annual Aging Well Expo features speakers and exhibitors offering information and services to help aging adults live their best lives. Community events such as Shred Days and social offerings are also facilitated by LT Senior Services. Though the offerings are typically held at venues such as the Lakeway Activity Center or the Lake Travis Community Library, in our post-COVID-19 world, many of these programs are also being offered online via Zoom webinars.
