Lucas Fire Rescue provides coverage to 24 square miles of district (Map) located in the Northern Collin County, Texas. There are 5015 Residences and Limited Businesses. We run out of one station: Station #1 is at 165 Country Club Apparatus at Station #1:* S1 A 2002 Full size Ford F250 quad cab diesel. This unit carries hand tools and 4 SCBA packs. First responder EMS support is on board. The unit has the capability of inspection and code enforcement support.* S2 A 2008 full size Ford F250 quad cab diesel. This unit carries hand tools and 4 SCBA packs. First responder EMS support is on board. The unit has the capability of inspection and code enforcement support.* Ops 3 A 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe. This unit is configured as an incident command vehicle.* Booster 1 A 1993 Becker on a Ford F350 diesel chassis with a 490 gpm Nissan Hale pump/class A foam and a 200-gallon water tank. Booster 1 carries tools, SCBAs and two 1 3/4" cross lays with 400 feet of 3-inch supply. A 3KW Honda-generator with demountable lighting and first responder EMS support is on board. Engine 3 A 2004 Spartan Gladiator General 6 man cab powered by a 435 hp Detroit series 60 diesel with 1250 gpm Hale/FoamPro Class A foam and a 750 gallon tank.
