Lucys Days Out

The Charity will provide days out, expenses and support for families living life shortening illness, predominantly we will be looking to help families in the Wiltshire, Hampshire & Dorset areas although we will look across the whole of the UK. To give a child a reason to smile is such a rewarding thing, also as a family its a heart warming experience to have a fun day amongst many dark days of hospital visits. Lucy Page died on the 23rd September 2010 after years of suffering, unfortunately years of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment did not work for Lucy. In Lucy's last few months her dying wish was to help others by forming a local charity. Julie Page teamed up with Keith Hartland, Jerry Holt and Peter Tanner to set up the "Lucy's Days Out" Charity in August 2010, Adrian Sainsbury and Claire Parret joined the charity as trustees in September 2011. The trustees are supported by a very willing committee, local community and businesses to make Lucy's dying wish a reality.
