Luh-Ai

The Institute of Artificial Intelligence LUHAI is the home for all research related to state-of-the-art AI topics at the Leibniz University Hannover. This includes machine learning, data science, reinforcement learning, and automated machine learning as well as natural language processing, computational argumentation, ethics in AI, and explainability. Our goal is to build human-centered approaches and systems that support people in their everyday lives and day-to-day business. In particular, we aim to create AI technology that is trustworthy, easy-to-use, scalable, fair, and centered around the needs and skills of human developers and users. To this end, we combine fundamental, applied, and interdisciplinary research — with social responsibility in mind.
