Mr. Ruiz focuses exclusively on immigration law matters and handles cases such as affirmative petitions, VAWA, U-Visa, all family based petitions, and removal defense cases. He works diligently with all of his clients to obtain the best results possible on all matters. Mr. Ruiz is a proud Mexican-American who celebrates both his Mexican and American heritage. He was born in Jalisco, Mexico and later moved to the Houston area, where he has resided ever since. Mr. Ruiz received both his Doctor of Jurisprudence and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston. He is licensed by The Supreme Court of Texas and practices immigration in all 50 U.S. states. Mr. Ruiz handles cases usually involving a spouse petitioning their partner, a child petitioning their parent, a parent petitioning their child, siblings petitioning each other, or crime victims petitioning for themselves.
