Based in Wellington, Luke Benner Consulting was established in 2019 to provide traffic and transportation engineering services and advice to clients throughout New Zealand. Providing consulting services within the traffic and transportation engineering fields, we work with both public sector and private clients. We believe in being able to provide and deliver value through building strong relationships with clients and achieving desirable outcomes; whether that be within Central Government, Local Government, Developers, Planners or other engineering professionals. OUR SERVICES INCLUDE: TRANSPORT IMPACT ASSESSMENTS (TIA’S) We work with clients undertaking developments whereby council has requested a traffic impact assessment be carried out (As part of the resource consent process). This assessment is often required to ensure that the traffic effects of a proposed development are acceptable and will not adversely affect the safety or functionality of the local roading network. INTERSECTION ANALYSIS, MODELLING & DESIGN We have extensive experience undertaking the analysis of new intersection layouts through the use of specialist software (SIDRA). We conduct general traffic counts, including site-specific turning counts, create and analyse different intersection layouts using SIDRA as well as providing concept and detailed design services. PROJECT MANAGEMENT (PLANNING & DESIGN) With experience managing the planning and design aspects of transportation projects, particularly for road safety and multimodal projects, Luke Benner Consulting can effectively manage the many facets required of each project to achieve successful project outcomes.
