With over 80 years of combined experience, Lum Law Group is the go-to practice for every small business owner, startup, or business-minded individual! Albert C. Lum, senior partner, began his career in law in 1963, helping business owners in the Los Angeles Chinese community. In 1964 opened his legal practice in Chinatown where there was little to no representation for the Chinese community. Mr. Lum was the general practitioner of the Chinese community, representing Chinese restaurants and businesses in the area in legal disputes, real estate, and immigration. He helped new immigrants navigate the complex legal system. Mr. Lum founded the Southern California Chinese Lawyer's Association to unite Chinese attorneys for support and camaraderie. Since then, Lum Law Group has expanded to include Mr. Lum's sons. Albert Justin Lum continues his father's legacy of supporting and helping new business owners with the added touch of his own specialty: intellectual property (copyrights, trademarks, patents). Lum Law Group has rich experience in a wide variety of legal areas with a small firm approach, providing personal, tailored services to all clients.
